Collision Repair & Automotive Refinishing Program at NEWTech
Are you a hands-on learner who loves to put things back together? Or maybe a car lover interested in a career in the automotive repair industry? Then consider enrolling in the Collision Repair and Automotive Refinishing Program at NEWTech Skill Center – one of 16 programs to help prepare you for your life after high school.
As a Collision Repair student at NEWTech, you’ll learn in our expansive autobody shop from an instructor with decades of body work experience. You’ll get hands-on training with metal work and welding, buffing and polishing, paint color matching, and so much more.
Students have the option to take this course for two years. There are two sessions to choose from – depending on your schedule - meeting Monday through Friday. Welding students can receive three CTE/Elective credits per year towards graduation. They can also earn several certificates that can help them get a leg up in this competitive industry, including: SP2 Collision Repair and Refinishing Safety, Structural Repair, Refinishing and Mechanical and Electrical.
