He didn’t just build a startup.
He built an AI that builds startups.
In this episode of The Next New Thing, Andrew Warner interviews Ben Cera, creator of Polsia — a platform where autonomous agents build, market, and operate companies with minimal human involvement.
Polsia sets up the infrastructure (server, database, email, GitHub), builds the MVP, runs Meta ads, sends cold emails, posts on Twitter, answers support, and even iterates on product decisions.
Ben is a solo founder. Zero employees.
And Polsia is already showing a ~$600K+ run rate across subscriptions, tasks, ad usage, and revenue share — just weeks after launch.
But here’s the surprising part:
Most of the companies on the platform are only weeks old. The biggest revenue-generating startup inside Polsia is still early. This isn’t about overnight unicorns. It’s about a new operating model.
You bring the idea.
Polsia spins up the company.
You decide the budget.
The agents execute.
And Polsia takes 20% of revenue — aligning incentives with the founder.

We are told the universe is expanding, stretching in every direction at once, and yet we rarely stop to ask the most unsettling question of all. If space itself is growing, what exactly is it growing into? The answer challenges everything we think we know about existence, boundaries, and the nature of reality itself - because the edge of the universe may not be an edge at all.
In this mind-bending space documentary, we explore the expansion of the cosmos - and what the viewer will discover defies ordinary intuition.
In this documentary, we go deep:
* The observable universe spans 93 billion light-years, yet the Big Bang occurred only 13.8 billion years ago - how is this possible?
* Galaxies are receding from us at speeds exceeding 70 kilometers per second per megaparsec due to dark energy
* The cosmic horizon: why light from distant regions will never reach us, no matter how long we wait
* The difference between the universe expanding through space versus space itself stretching
* What physicists mean when they say there is no outside - and why nothingness itself may not exist
Perhaps the universe is not expanding into anything at all.
Perhaps the question itself reveals the limits of human comprehension.

Spintronics is short for “spin electronics,” and refers to the study of the spin of the electron. In electronic devices, spintronics leverages the spin of electrons to process and store data with extreme efficiency – this technology is just a few years from reaching the consumer market, and will make your devices faster and more efficient. For a price, of course. Let’s take a look at how spintronics got here and where it’s going.

🎤 Lyrics: Jake Worthington - Next New Thing
[Verse 1]
I stopped drinkin’ light beer
Started mixin’ me some whiskey and coke
I gave up cigarettes ‘cause I found me somethin’ better to smoke
I quit that local bar
‘Cause I found me a honky tonk scene
I’m just a good ol’ boy lookin’ for the next new thing
[Chorus]
I ain’t a do right
Walk the line
Nine to five same routine
Hell I’m an all night
Bonafide good time know what I mean
I’m just a good ol’ boy lookin’ for the next new thing
[Verse 2]
Said the neighbors called the cops last night ‘bout a quarter to three
Here come the headlights up the drive
Blue lights lookin’ for me
Oh he said “buddy whatcha doin’”
I said “don’t you throw your book at me”
I’m just a good ol’ boy lookin’ for the next new thing
[Chorus]
Lord I ain’t a do right
Walk the line
Nine to five same routine
Hell I’m an all night
Bonafide good time know what I mean
I’m just a good ol’ boy lookin’ for the next new thing
[Chorus]
I ain’t a do right
Walk the line
Nine to five same routine
Hell I’m an all night
Bonafide good time know what I mean
I’m just a good ol’ boy lookin’ for the next new thing
Hey I’m just a good ol’ boy

Elon Musk retweeted it. 38 million views later, it points to a much bigger shift: you can now turn X data into apps—fast.
In this episode of The Next New Thing, Andrew Warner talks with Robert Scoble about the new X API changes—and why they matter for builders.
The update makes it cheaper and easier to pull data from curated lists (like communities, experts, or niches) and turn that into something useful with AI. Instead of scrolling feeds, you can send agents to monitor thousands of posts, summarize what matters, and generate outputs—websites, dashboards, even niche apps—in minutes.
Scoble shares how he’s running agents across tens of thousands of posts a day, building tools like real-time news sites and even a weather app powered by climate scientists on X. Andrew pushes on what this actually unlocks for everyday users—and where the friction still is.
The bigger idea: social platforms are shifting from content feeds to programmable data layers, where AI agents do the reading—and you focus on what to build with it.

In this episode of The Next New Thing, Wade (Zapier’s CEO) shows how their new SDK lets tools like Claude, Cursor, and Codex directly interact with your entire stack—Slack, Gmail, HubSpot, databases, and more.
Instead of switching between apps, Wade now does everything through an agent: checking Slack, reviewing customers, generating emails, prepping meetings, and even auditing hiring decisions.
The key shift isn’t just automation—it’s turning your entire workflow into something an agent can run end-to-end.
He walks through how he built a personal “CEO CRM” that pulls data from multiple systems, identifies which customers need attention, and drafts outreach emails automatically. From there, he shows how these workflows evolve into reusable skills, then into fully automated systems that run in the background.
The result: less time clicking through tools—and more time operating at a higher level.

🎤 Jordan Davis - Next Thing You Know (Lyrics / Lyric Video)
[Verse 1]
You swear that you're stayin' single, next thing you know
You meet a girl at a bar and next thing you know
You get her laughin', it's two am
You're tellin' your buddies, three months in
That she ain't movin' in, the next thing you know
There's a U-Haul trailer, the next thing you know
Your old apartment is y'all's new place
There goes the carpet but the deer head stays
[Chorus]
Next thing you know
You're savin' money like never before, just to
Spend it all at a jewelry store
Gettin' down on one knee on hеr mama's porch
Just prayin' she don't say no
Next thing you know
Your best man givеs a half-drunk speech and you're
Sunburnt on a honeymoon beach and your
Left hand's gettin' used to that ring
There the next two or three years go
Next thing you know
[Verse 2]
You weren't really tryin', next thing you know
There's a test on the counter, next thing you know
She's standin' there cryin', noddin' her head yes
You're half excited, half scared to death
[Chorus]
'Cause next thing you know
You're wearin' scrubs and a funny white hat and the
Doctor's sayin' how you doin' there dad and
Nobody's ever called you that
And you take that drive home slow
Next thing you know
It's first steps, first dates, first car
It's 11:01 wonderin' where they are
You're sayin' that USC's too far
It's amazing how fast seventeen years go
Next thing you know
Next thing you know
[Bridge]
Next thing you know
You get to know your wife again and you're
More in love than you've ever been
With a lot of years of remember when's and still some down the road
[Chorus]
'Cause next thing you know
You got a yard full of your kid's kids
And ya take 'em to church, teach 'em to fish
And ya tell 'em stories every chance you get
About how fast this life down here can go
Next thing you know
Next thing you know

An AI software factory is the ultimate evolution of AI coding. A PRD goes in, gets split into tasks, and shipped code comes out the other end, with nobody looking at the code in between.
I ran that as an experiment all year and it built Dynachat, my AI tutor, which I have never read a line of. Now I am building an open source version anyone can download and point at their own project! You paste the prompt at the top of the README into your coding agent and it installs the whole thing.
It's in early alpha and it is my number one priority going forward - building it out and sharing it with you on this channel as I do so.

Claude Code loops are the AI coding automation trend everyone's testing.
Presented by Zapier: https://zapier.com/
Matthew Berman joins Andrew Warner to break down how AI coding agents iterate autonomously — from thumbnail generation and page speed optimization to sub-agents running in parallel and a 10-day Codex automation that tried to clone Excel.
The big idea: AI coding is moving from "write better prompts" to "design better systems." The best loops work when the goal is verifiable, the agent knows when to stop, and humans stay involved where taste, judgment, and customer feedback matter.
