"When I've Got You" Lyrics
[Verse 1]
Making my way
Way down south to the river
Been lost for days
'Cause I'm looking for freedom
There's nothing but chains around me
But I won't be broken
'Cause I'm gonna fight this time
Fight every moment
[Pre-Chorus]
Not gonna lie
It hurts this time
'Cause I am feeling
Alone on this side
Not gonna lie
I come back to life
When I've got you
[Chorus]
You are my gateway to heaven
If I ever knew in my life
My love, oh, my baby
You are the best thing to happen
I've got an angel down here
Angel right herе
Watching every single
Thing and еvery little
Step that I take
You make it all worth it baby, oh
[Verse 2]
Finding my place
Just a man in a man's world
Making a name
Ain't easy these days
But when I come home
To your sweet love
You're my slice of heaven
I've got my ride or die
In my arms all night
[Pre-Chorus]
Not gonna lie
It hurts sometimes
When I am feeling alone
On this side
Not gonna lie
I come back to life
When I've got you
[Chorus]
You are my gateway to heaven
If I ever knew in my life
My love, oh, my baby
You are the best thing to happen
I've got an angel down here
Angel right here
Watching every single
Thing and every little
Step that I take
You make it all worth it baby, oh
[Guitar Solo]
[Pre-Chorus]
Not gonna lie
It hurts sometimes
When I am feeling alone
Alone on this side
Not gonna lie
I come back to life
When I've got you
[Chorus]
You are my gateway to heaven
If I ever knew in my life
My love, oh, my baby
You are the best thing to happen
I've got an angel down here
Angel right here
Watching every single
Thing and every little
Step that I take
You make it all worth it baby

The show was over, but the encore that ensued was extraordinary. Trimmed it down to the final 15 minutes, but please buy the DVD and see the entire show. It's his best work since Riverdance. The only thing missing is beautiful Jean Butler. Do enjoy! - I claim no ownership/rights. Simply for entertainment and pleasure.

𝐖𝐢𝐫 𝐡𝐚𝐛𝐞𝐧 𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐍𝐞𝐮𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐮̈𝐫 𝐞𝐮𝐜𝐡: 𝐮𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐓𝐮𝐛𝐞-𝐑𝐞𝐢𝐡𝐞 „𝐃𝐊𝐄𝐁 𝐋𝐈𝐕𝐄!“
Produzent: HutterMusic GmbH
Mixing & Mastering: Bauer Studios
Video: Felix Pitscheneder
Musik: DKEB
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
𝐖𝐢𝐞𝐬𝐨 𝐦𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐫 𝐝𝐚𝐬?

On April 29th, 1994, on the Eurovision stage, a seven-minute interval performance changed everything. What began as a bold celebration of Irish music and dance became a global phenomenon overnight. Riverdance was more than a moment — it was the spark of something unforgettable. From that stage to theatres around the world, the rhythm lives on.
#Riverdance #Eurovision #WhereItAllBegan #IrishDance #1994
On April 30th 1994 something happened during the interval of the Eurovision Song Contest that was to lead to the creation of one of the most successful stage shows of all time and introduce the wider world to Irish dance and music.
As votes were being counted around Europe, in Dublin in the Point Theatre (now the O2), RIVERDANCE burst onto the stage and took the audience by complete surprise.
From the haunting vocals of Anúna, the graceful elegance of Jean Butler, the explosive arrival of Michael Flatley and culminating in a long line of Irish dancers beating the stage in perfect heart-stopping harmony - a whole new genre of entertainment was born and 20 years and 25 million audience members later - Riverdance still astonishes globally.

In today's video, we finally got to see the amazing Riverdance show! We have been wanting to see this for many years and they were showing their Riverdance 30 at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts in Fort Lauderdale. We have never been to this Center before so we wanted to show you what the inside looked like and what our seats look like! It’s an older theater but it still was large and beautiful! We parked in the parking garage next door and it was an easy walk to the doors. They do have a concession stand with drinks and snacks. The show had two parts, with an intermission. Overall the show was about 2 hours. They ask you not to film or take photos during the show until the encore so we were able to get some great footage at the end! We loved the show and would recommend everyone checking out Riverdance!!! Thank you Riverdance for coming to Florida!
