October 21, 65 years ago today, Ray Stanford handed my father, Bob Proctor, a book that changed his life — and ultimately, millions of others.

At the time, Dad was broke, miserable, and sick (his words).

Ray simply said, “Bob, your way’s not working. Why don’t you try mine?”

And everything changed.
