Anthropic CEO reacts to 'AI could kill us all' warning

The race to develop artificial intelligence is in dire need of a slowdown, Anthropic’s chief executive Dario Amodei said in an essay posted early Saturday.

“We must slow the pace at which we improve the capabilities of AI models. Progress will still seem fast, and we must make wise use of the time we gain,” Amodei wrote in the 3,800-word post to his website.
