High-explosive action, daring heists, and a trail of smoking gunpowder in a wild, action-packed ride through the lawless frontier! 🤠🌵💥

Pot (Peter Martell) is not your average frontier outlaw. He possesses a dangerous, chaotic passion for explosives, earning himself a formidable reputation and a fittingly destructive nickname across the West. Alongside his sharp-shooting, calculating brother Steve (Lincoln Tate), the duo orchestrates a masterfully volatile bank robbery, successfully walking away with a massive fortune in stolen gold.

However, pulling off the heist is only the beginning of their troubles. With a sack full of loot and the law hot on their heels, the brothers become the ultimate targets. The stolen wealth quickly draws the attention of greedy rival gangs, corrupt figures, and a ruthless, cold-blooded villain (Gordon Mitchell) who will stop at nothing to claim the gold for himself. As alliances shatter and betrayal lurks around every desert canyon, Pot and Steve are forced to rely on their quick wits, deadly aims, and a seemingly endless supply of dynamite to blast their way to freedom.

Co-directed by the legendary Italian cult filmmaker Demofilo Fidani and Lucio Dandolo, "His Name Was Pot" (1971) is a gritty, fast-paced Spaghetti Western. Blending classic frontier shootouts with explosive action and a touch of dark, quirky humor, the film stands as a quintessential piece of 1970s Italian genre cinema, brought to life by a stellar trio of Western icons.
