Is a career in graphic design something that interest you? Enroll in the Graphic Design and Digital Arts program at NEWTech Skill Center.

Build up your skills by designing bold marketing projects for a variety of mediums like t-shirts, posters, stickers and buttons. You’ll even practice developing logos and other promotional materials for different business and organizations, just like a professional graphic designer would.

Juniors and Seniors have the option of taking this course for one or two years. Graphic Design can be applied as a CTE/Elective credit as well as a Fine Art credit toward their high school diploma. Students also are eligible to earn six College credits per year for Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign from Spokane Falls Community College. Whatever the student decides their post-secondary plan is, they will leave the Graphic Design class with a portfolio they can showcase when looking for a job in the graphic design, marketing or advertising industry.
