Pre-Dental Assisting program at NEWTech Skill Center

Are you interested in a career in the rewarding field of dentistry? Enroll in the Pre-Dental Assisting program at NEWTech Skill Center.

As a Pre-Dental Assisting student at NEWTech, you’ll learn the fundamentals of dentistry from hygiene to the equipment to patient care. Through life-like simulations, you’ll even learn how to perform dental cleanings, just like at a dentist’s office.

Students can enroll in the Pre-Dental Assisting program for one year or two years during their junior or senior years and can earn one science credit and three elective credits towards their graduation. They can also earn up to ten college credit at S-C-C, as well as certifications in bloodborne pathogens, CPR/First Aid and dental assisting – giving you a leg up when pursuing a career in the dental field.
