Omar Soliman started with his mom’s cargo van, a friend, and an idea most people would have laughed at: haul other people’s junk for money.

His first customer handed him $250 - more money than he felt he had ever seen at once - and suddenly the future looked different.

What followed wasn’t overnight success. It was two decades of recession, COVID, hiring mistakes, franchise growing pains, reinvestment, and years of barely paying themselves.

Then came Shark Tank. Omar and his partner were offered $250,000 for 10% of their company - and walked away.

Today, College HUNKS Hauling Junk & Moving generates roughly $300 million in systemwide annual revenue, after raising minority capital at an approximately $140 million valuation.

In this episode, he breaks down what changes from $0 to $1M, $1M to $10M, and $10M to $100M+, why the wrong people are one of the most expensive mistakes in business, and why resourcefulness will beat resources almost every time.
