Hegseth Goes Full Crusader & Launches Project Meridian With Elon and Palmer Luckey

Welcome to Impact Theory! The 10-year Treasury yield just touched 5.3% after its sharpest quarterly jump since 1994. We break down why a $40 trillion debt, Fed hikes, and the AI build-out all competing for the same dollars could put the U.S. on a collision course. Next, France's nationwide riots: schools burned, hundreds of police injured, and the French government's claim that the far-left LFI orchestrated it, which LFI denies. That leads into a heated debate on immigration, assimilation, and whether American schools teach kids to love or resent their country. Then we unpack Pete Hegseth's "warrior ethos" speech, Project Meridian with Elon Musk and Palmer Luckey, and his new Office of Religious Affairs. After that, Trump's nuclear push and how far behind China America has fallen on energy, plus Trump's floated idea of government stakes in OpenAI and Anthropic. We wrap with Friday Funnies and your Super Chats on Epstein, Israel, solar tax credits, and whether AI can ever be kept under control.

Note: This episode contains opinion and commentary on developing stories, including the France riots and their alleged organizers, immigration policy, and AI. Views expressed are the hosts' own, and some claims discussed remain contested or unconfirmed.
