Robert Croak didn’t invent a revolutionary technology.
He spotted a tiny shaped rubber band at a trade show in China.
Most people would have ignored it.
But Croak saw something different... a toy kids could wear, trade, and collect.
The idea became Sillybandz, one of the biggest toy crazes of the 2010s.
What started with four cases and 17 employees exploded into a global phenomenon with over 3,200 employees and billions of bands sold in 45 countries.
But behind the viral product was years of failure, risk, and relentless execution.
In this episode, Croak breaks down how weird ideas become massive businesses, why most entrepreneurs fail, and the wealth habits that separate the rich from everyone else.
Sometimes the biggest empires start with the simplest ideas.
