Mindenszentek és Halottak napja szorosan összekapcsolódik, hiszen november 1-jén az egyház a szenteket ünnepli, november 2-án pedig az elhunyt, de még nem szentté avatott hívőket.



Elemzés:
Fülöp Áron versének témája a halottak napjához kapcsolódó emlékezés és kegyelet érzése. A költemény mély érzelmi töltetű, a halállal, az elmúlással és a gyászoló emberi lélekkel foglalkozik. Kegyelet és hit – A kegyelet motívuma a versben különleges szerepet kap, hiszen a költő ezt az emberi érzelmet az ég felé forduló, magasabb rendű kapcsolattá alakítja át.
