In this heartfelt and hilarious episode of Club Shay Shay, Shannon Sharpe sits down with the incomparable Ms. Pat—comedian, actress, podcast host, NAACP-nominated author, and Emmy-nominated creator of The Ms. Pat Show on BET+. Ms. Pat opens up about her remarkable journey from humble beginnings in Atlanta to becoming a force in the entertainment industry. She reflects on the tough lessons learned growing up in a bootleg house, becoming a teenage mom, and how she transformed her life despite the odds.

Ms. Pat shares an unforgettable moment with Shannon, recalling the advice he gave her on a plane about matching her Gucci backpack and Louis Vuitton purse, which sparked a lasting bond between the two. She also discusses the emotional responsibility of raising her sister’s children while juggling her own, the challenges of growing up with an abusive mother, and the painful yet transformative process of forgiveness, including caring for her estranged father in his final years.

Through laughter, tears, and her signature raw humor, Ms. Pat explores the power of comedy as therapy and how it helped her heal from trauma. She calls Katt Williams one of the most caring comedians and shares that Katt paid for her dad’s funeral. Ms. Pat also dives deep into her personal life, including the pride she feels in building a legacy for her children and the lessons she's learned about love, resilience, and self-worth. With her down-to-earth attitude and refusal to embrace the “celebrity” label, Ms. Pat’s story is one of resilience, transformation, and finding humor in even the darkest moments.

In a fun and candid moment, Ms. Pat shares that her dream project would be Rush Hour, and she opens up about her long-standing admiration for Ice Cube. She expresses her desire to collaborate with him on iconic projects like Friday, jokingly inviting Ice Cube to give her a call for the next installment.

In an honest moment, Ms.Pat discusses her relationship with her daughter, navigating complex conversations around sexuality, and learning to accept her daughter’s identity. She reflects on how her own past biases shifted, realizing the importance of love and support.

Ms. Pat discusses who she would like to have dinner with, dead or alive, which includes the legendary Whitney Houston, Richard Pryor, Dave Chappelle, and Fred Sanford. She also opens up about the challenges of managing her newfound wealth, from paying taxes to learning the importance of investing for her family’s future. Ms. Pat offers valuable life lessons with her signature wit and candor, including the difficulties of saying "no" to loved ones and managing the financial pressures that come with success.

Ms. Pat takes us to an emotional Super Bowl memory, recounting a dramatic story about her late sister-in-law, who passed away while watching the Falcons play. She reflects on how she broke generational curses, sharing the profound joy she felt when her daughter graduated high school—an achievement that symbolized the breaking of cycles in her family. She discusses the complexities of motherhood, the mistakes she made, and the love she poured into her children. With heartfelt advice, Ms. Pat encourages women facing adversity to learn to love themselves first in order to move forward.

It’s been a long time since we posted a Beatles cover, and Norwegian Wood (This Bird Has Flown) seemed like a perfect start to our summer video line-up. We chose several beautiful and serene nature settings for our video locations and were thrilled that the birds were singing along with our music – very apropos as the original song is subtitled: “This Bird Has Flown”. We especially loved seeing the bluebirds flying around and were able to capture a pair flying by in one of our shots. See if you can spot them in our video (they were flying so fast that we had to slow that video clip down to 25%). Although not simple, we wanted our arrangement to sound effortless, while giving it the feeling of a dance. Interestingly, Norwegian Wood was originally written in 12/8, which can have a feeling of 3/4 – the most common time signature of the waltz. Everything you hear in our arrangement is exactly how we perform it live with our 2 harps: no backing tracks, loops or overlays. Please let us know if you enjoyed “Norwegian Wood” by liking the video, favoriting, leaving a comment, and sharing it with your friends. We will continue to go where no harps have gone before! Please subscribe and stay tuned for more of our radical Duet Harp Revolution!

Storyline:
Super cool Silver kills the seven members of a masked gang, one by one. Saloon girls and poker games enliven this action-packed movie which culminates in the unmasking of the evil gang's boss.

Review:
Alfonso Brescia's "Killer Calibro 32" is a decent, although not exceptionally breathtaking Spaghetti Western, which does not get boring for a minute and shouldn't be missed by fans of the genre. "Killer Caliber .32" doesn't contain any new, or very imaginative elements, but the story of an antihero, a contract killer in this case, is delivered very well and although the movie is certainly no genre-highlight or masterpiece, lovers of the Italian Western should be pleased with this solid and very entertaining film.

Hired gun Silver (Peter Lee Lawrence) is a contract killer with style. He will kill a man for 1000 dollars, but he wouldn't quite take any job. He proudly says that he only kills people who deserve to die, he uses silver bullets, and he insists on being called 'Mr. Silver' not just 'Silver'. His paying customers include poor Mexican workers, who want him to get rid of their despotic boss, a sadistic landowner, or a saloon owner who needs him to kill a brutal bandit. Silver always waits for his target person to draw his gun out, so he can always claim self-defense. After doing a job in a little town, Silver gets hired by the owners of a local bank to eliminate a gang of outlaws who constantly rob the stagecoaches, and who killed all the passengers on their last raid.

When I first saw this film, I wasn't quite sure if Peter Lee Lawrence was the right man to play the role of contract killer Silver, since he just looked too young (early 20s), in my opinion. One must say, however, that he played his role well, and after seeing the movie I had changed my mind. Beautiful Hélène Chanel, who plays the daughter of a murder victim, also delivers a nice performance. The cast furthermore contains Alberto Dell'Acqua, whom Spaghetti Western fans might know for playing Franco Nero's younger brother in Ferdinando Baldi's "Texas Addio" of 1966. The rest of the performances are not bad either, but I can't say any of them were particularly worth mentioning. What I really liked about "Killer Caliber .32" was the fact that Silver stays an antihero throughout the whole movie, he doesn't have a problem to shoot people, even if they are already wounded and lying on the ground. The score by Robby Poitevin is also quite good, again, nothing phenomenal, but decent.

All said, "Killer Calibro 32" is a solid and very entertaining Spaghetti Western with a fair amount of violence, nothing spectacular, but certainly a film that my fellow fans of the genre should not miss. Recommended. Written by Witchfinder-General-666 on IMDb.

The trade war initiated by Prime Minister Mark Carney against the United States showcases a profound miscalculation regarding economic leverage. As President Trump wields tariffs to gain advantageous trade terms, Canada’s retaliatory measures are unlikely to inflict equal economic pain, further exposing its dependence on American markets. The situation not only threatens Canada's economic stability but also raises concerns about the country’s geopolitical alliances amidst a backdrop of escalating tensions with its largest trading partner.

In this video, we’re going to talk about what you need to know if you have high cholesterol on keto. The American Heart Association guidelines actually state that “total cholesterol is not significantly associated with heart disease.” Your body makes cholesterol to make hormones, cell membranes, bile, and vitamin D.

Total cholesterol is really LDL, HDL, and triglycerides combined. Whenever a person gets a cholesterol test, they may also want to get an advanced lipid profile. This is an advanced test that measures the two different types of LDL.

The two types of LDL are large buoyant and small dense (sdLDL-C). The type of cholesterol that can be dangerous is the small dense (sdLDL-C). The small dense type may be a better marker for predicting future potential heart problems and a better indicator of inflammation inside of the arteries. The small dense type of LDL comes from a high-carb diet.

By doing the healthy version of keto, you can get into ketosis and start burning fat. There will be certain times where your cholesterol goes up and down. But, as long as you keep your carbs low, you’ll get more of the large buoyant LDL and not the small dense type.

A few potential causes of inflammation in the arteries:
• Seed oils
• Glucose
• Smoking
• Junk food
• Low vitamin E
