The Great Pyramid encodes the exact dimensions of the Earth. Multiply its height by 43,200 and you get the polar radius of the planet. Measure all four sides and multiply by the same number and you get the equatorial circumference. Graham Hancock, bestselling author and presenter of the Netflix series Ancient Apocalypse, explains why this cannot be a coincidence and what it reveals about a forgotten chapter in the human story.

Steven visited Giza the week before this conversation and asks the simplest possible question: what is the mystery? Graham walks him through it piece by piece. The Great Pyramid weighs roughly 6 million tons. It contains more than 2 million individual blocks of hewn limestone and granite. Each of the four sides measures approximately 750 feet and they vary in length by only fractions of an inch. It is aligned to true north, not compass north, within 3/60ths of a single degree. It sits almost exactly on latitude 30 degrees north, one third of the way between the equator and the North Pole. Graham has climbed it five times and says the experience is terrifying: a 52-degree slope where a single fall from the third course means death.
