If you know Frankl’s story, you know the weight of those words.

Every day, his life depended on which line he was forced into.

Unspeakable conditions. Unthinkable suffering.

And yet… he refused to let the outside world dictate his inner world.

He chose his attitude.

He chose his response.

He chose to look for the good, even in a place designed to crush the human spirit.

He chose to see the humanity in others, to help however he could, to hold onto meaning when meaning seemed impossible.

And that choice—his *attitude*—didn’t just save his life. It transformed millions of lives after.

It made me think of something my father Bob Proctor said his entire life, which he learned from Earl Nightingale:

Attitude is the magic word.

Not luck.
Not timing.
Not skill.

In fact, only 5% of success comes from skill… and 95% comes from attitude.

Because attitude is your root vibration.

It’s what you bring into every conversation, every challenge, every opportunity.

It’s the energy you carry into your day before you say a single word.

No one—no circumstance, no person, no problem—can control your attitude unless you hand it over.

Ray Stanford said it best

“You are your problem… and you are your solution.”

Two people can face the exact same situation and end up in completely different outcomes.

The difference isn’t intelligence.

It’s the meaning they give the moment.

And that meaning comes from self-image… how you see *you*.

If you see yourself as capable, worthy, creative—you respond with possibility.

If you see yourself through doubt—you respond with panic, blame, shutdown.

So here’s the real question for all of us:

Where in my life have I been handing my attitude over to my circumstances?

And what would change if I reclaimed it?

When you change the way you see you, you change the way you see everything else.

And that changes your life.
