Rick Rubin says the biggest block to your creativity isn't a lack of talent. It's caring what other people will think of the thing you made.

In this clip, Rick Rubin and Jay Shetty talk about why the artists who last are the ones who stopped trying to guess what the audience wants, including the eight years Rick spent refusing a book deal because every publisher was picturing a different book.

Rick opens up about telling Johnny Cash to sing a love song to God instead of a woman, why he moved a whole band into a mansion instead of a studio, and the difference between procrastination and the kind of distraction that actually solves the problem for you.

Learn about the habit he practices the second he wakes up, why moving your body too soon erases what your subconscious just told you, and why comparing two pieces of art makes about as much sense as comparing two diary entries.

Have you ever pushed away the love you wanted most or clung to it so tightly that you lost yourself in the process?

Jay sits down with Attachment Style expert and creator of the Integrated Attachment Theory Thais Gibson to unpack one of the most powerful forces shaping our relationships. Together, they explore how our earliest emotional experiences quietly shape the way we love, communicate, and respond to conflict later in adulthood. Thais explains how anxious, avoidant, and fearful-avoidant patterns aren’t flaws or labels that define us, but protective mechanisms we once needed to feel safe.

Jay and Thais dive into the subtle ways attachment wounds show up in dating and long-term relationships, from overthinking a delayed text, to fearing commitment when things start to get too serious. Thais shares practical tools for recognizing your subconscious needs, reprogramming limiting beliefs, and communicating in ways that build security instead of sabotaging connection. Jay highlights how healing isn’t about changing who you are, it’s about understanding why you are the way you are, and consciously choosing new patterns that align with the love you truly desire. They emphasize that compatibility alone isn’t enough; emotional safety, self-awareness, and the willingness to grow are what sustain meaningful connection.

This is a reminder that love is not just about finding the right person, it’s about becoming the safest, most secure version of yourself. When we learn to meet our own unmet needs, we stop outsourcing our worth and start building relationships rooted in clarity, compassion, and conscious choice.

In this interview, you'll learn:
How to Identify Your Attachment Style
How to Stop Overthinking in Relationships
How to Communicate Your Emotional Needs Clearly
How to Reprogram Limiting Love Beliefs
How to Build Emotional Safety with a Partner
How to Respond Instead of React to Triggers
How to Set Boundaries Without Fear of Abandonment

Awareness is the turning point. The moment you begin to notice your triggers without judging them, communicate your needs without apologizing for them, and choose growth over fear, that’s the moment your relationships begin to change.

Don't judge people by how smart, charming, or successful they are. Judge them by whether they can take criticism.

In this clip, Robert Greene and Jay Shetty talk about how to spot a weak character before you let someone into your life, and why the people who pull you in fastest are usually the ones to walk away from.

Robert explains why negative people aren't actually attacking you, what stress and power reveal about someone once the mask slips, and why we keep choosing the exact wrong people over and over again.

Then it turns inward. Robert opens up about feeling like an impostor, why he refused to write a sequel to The 48 Laws of Power, and the one thing he's still trying to learn at this point in his life.

Learn about why your thoughts aren't real, how social media copied the human brain, and what happens when you start questioning every belief you have.

Everything in Mel Robbins' life was going right.
She still gripped onto the one thing making her unhappy.
She calls it the campaign of misery.
A constant drumbeat of negativity that ran in her head for 50 years.
She fixed her marriage and her finances.
She built the business everyone sees now.
But the voice never stopped.

In this clip, Mel Robbins and Jay Shetty ask why so many of us don't believe we deserve to be happy.

Why mediocrity feels safer than wanting something.
And why staying busy is just a socially acceptable way to outrun how you actually feel.

Learn about the morning on a Vermont deck that changed how Mel defines contentment.
And why settling for the pain you already know might cost you more than the risk ever would.

Sometimes we become so fixated on improving our lives that we stop asking a more important question: what actually matters?

Jay sits down with Tim Ferriss for something deeper than a discussion on productivity, it’s an exploration of how to live with real intention. Instead of chasing shortcuts or stacking habits, Jay turns the focus inward, examining how our thoughts, emotions, and daily choices quietly shape the life we end up living. Drawing from years of personal experimentation, Tim draws from years of experimentation to reveal a powerful truth: most of what holds us back isn’t a lack of discipline, it’s a lack of alignment, between what we say matters, what we focus on, and how we actually live.

Throughout the conversation, Jay returns to a theme he often explores, the tension between achievement and acceptance. In a world that rewards constant hustle and endless optimization, it’s easy to believe we always need to do more, fix more, and become more. Tim opens up about his own struggles with anxiety and obsessive thinking, offering a more grounded view of growth, one that isn’t just about pushing forward, it’s also about knowing when to pause, simplify, and let go of what no longer serves you.

In this episode you'll learn:
How to Focus on What Truly Matters
How to Stop Chasing the Wrong Goals
How to Improve Your Life by Subtracting
How to Build Better Daily Habits
How to Ask Better Questions for Clarity
How to Avoid Burnout While Staying Productive
How to Break Free from Distractions
How to Create Meaningful Progress in Life
How to Align Your Actions with Your Purpose

Real change often begins with a single shift, paying attention to where your energy goes, questioning what truly matters, and giving yourself permission to slow down when needed. Growth isn’t just about doing more; it’s about doing what’s right for you, with intention.

Today, Jay sits down with communication expert Jefferson Fisher to explore why the conversations we avoid often shape our lives the most. Drawing from his experience as a trial lawyer turned teacher, Jefferson shares a powerful truth: communication isn’t about winning arguments, it’s about building peace. When we learn to face difficult conversations head on with clarity, courage, and compassion we stop people-pleasing, reconnect with who we truly are, and create deeper, more honest relationships. Avoidance may feel safer in the moment, but it always comes at a cost.

Together, Jay and Jefferson unpack why so many conflicts spiral, not because of what’s said, but because of what’s heard. From romantic relationships to family dynamics, they reveal how most arguments are really about the need to feel understood, valued, and safe. Jefferson shares simple yes transformative tools, like asking “What did you hear?” or pausing to breathe before responding, that help slow heated moments and turn reaction into connection. He explains that true emotional intelligence is the ability to repair quickly, validate feelings without needing to agree, and choose understanding over defensiveness.

In this interview, you'll learn:
How to Face Difficult Conversations Without Fear
How to Say the Hard Thing Without Starting a Fight
How to Stay Calm When You Feel Triggered
How to Make Someone Feel Understood Without Agreeing
How to Repair a Conversation After You Mess Up
How to Slow Down Arguments Before They Escalate
How to Build Deeper Relationships Through Better Conversations

Every honest sentence, every pause to breathe, every moment you choose understanding over reaction is a step toward a more peaceful life. Growth doesn’t come from avoiding what’s hard, it comes from meeting it with intention, patience, and compassion.

Most of the fears holding you back don't actually exist. You wake up every morning, build the monster in your own head, and spend all your energy fighting something that isn't there.

In this clip, Rob Dial and Jay Shetty talk about why we struggle to focus on what matters, how to break the cycle of procrastination, and the moment Rob realized external success was never going to fix what was broken inside.

Rob opens up about the 3-step formula to rewire negative thoughts, why being "driven" beats being "motivated" every time, and the letter his father left behind that forced him to stop running from his life.

Learn why you can never outrun an intellectual fear, and how sitting in complete silence might be the hardest, and most important thing you ever do.

Matthew McConaughey didn’t build his life by trying to control every outcome. He built it by learning when to let go and when to trust.
Today, Jay sits down with Matthew for a raw, unfiltered exploration of purpose, faith, discipline, and what it really means to live well. It’s an honest conversation about the moments that shape us, and the choices that quietly define who we become. Together, they move through certainty and surrender, ambition and presence, effort and trust.

Matthew opens up about his lifelong relationship with achievement and his growing desire to create space for stillness, daydreaming, and reflection. He shares how writing became a way to strip away filters and speak more directly to his truth, and how fatherhood reshaped his understanding of responsibility, humility, and love. Jay and Matthew explore failure as a sign of growth, and how disappointment when met with self-awareness, can teach rather than define us. Together they reveal a powerful insight: growth doesn’t come from trying to perfect ourselves, but from learning how to stay present, curious, and grounded through every season of life.

Matthew reflects on the balance between taking responsibility and letting go, between striving for excellence and accepting imperfection. He shares why he believes the world is conspiring to make us happy, not through ease, but through meaning, effort, and alignment.

In this interview, you'll learn:
How to Trust Life Without Losing Control
How to Redefine Success Beyond Achievement
How to Learn From Failure Without Shame
How to Build Trust Before You Need It
How to Stay Present Without Chasing Perfection
How to Strengthen Love Through Daily Intention
How to Find Meaning When Answers Aren’t Clear

Life isn’t asking you to be perfect, it’s asking you to be present. To stay curious. To keep learning. To choose courage over comfort and intention over autopilot. No matter where you are right now, progress is still possible, meaning is still available, and your next step matters.

In this clip, John Edward and Jay Shetty talk about the reading he walked into at 15 to debunk, and the one question that stopped Jay's producer cold: "Who's Chris?"

John breaks down what he sees, hears and feels in a session, why he asks people not to say a word for the first 10 minutes, and the red flags that tell you someone's taking advantage of your grief.

Learn about why nobody dies alone, what happens in a room the moment a pet comes through, and the morning after his mom passed when he realized nobody would ever care what time he came home.

We spend so much time waiting to feel ready, not realizing that confidence only comes after we begin.

Today, Jay sits down with Leila Hormozi to explore what truly drives success, not just in business but in becoming the person who can sustain it. What emerges is a powerful shift in perspective. Confidence is not something you chase, it is something you earn through competence. Leila shares candid stories from her early struggles with insecurity, rejection, and self-doubt, revealing that real growth begins the moment you stop waiting to feel ready and start taking action anyway. Together, they unpack a hard truth. The path to confidence is built through failure, humility, and the willingness to be seen as “bad” before becoming great.

The conversation moves beyond mindset into the mechanics of success, including discipline, leadership, and emotional resilience. Leila reframes discipline not as a personality trait, but as a system you design within your environment, making the right actions easier and the wrong ones harder. Leila also challenges the belief that strategy or market conditions determine success. Instead, she emphasizes that the real differentiator is your ability to manage your mind and emotions under pressure. Through stories of entrepreneurs who lost everything, not because of poor tactics, but because they could not stay grounded, she highlights that inner stability is the true foundation of long-term success.

In this episode you'll learn:
How to Build Confidence Through Competence
How to Take Action Before You Feel Ready
How to Turn Rejection Into Growth
How to Stay Disciplined Using Simple Systems
How to Manage Your Emotions Under Pressure
How to Lean Into Discomfort
How to Create Consistency That Drives Results
How to Lead People Without Losing Trust
How to Build a Successful Business Without Losing Your Values
How to Focus on What Truly Moves You Forward

You don’t need to have everything figured out to move forward, you just need to be willing to start where you are. Growth isn’t about feeling confident every step of the way; it’s about showing up even when you’re unsure, uncomfortable, or afraid.

With Love and Gratitude,
Jay Shetty

Hard work doesn't make you wealthy. If it did, the person running your local laundromat would out-earn Jeff Bezos.

In this clip, Codie Sanchez and Jay Shetty talk about why owning a home might not be the smart financial move it used to be, and why you suffer less from a lack of money than a lack of knowing how to get it.

Codie breaks down the real difference between debit and credit cards, why "passive income" is mostly a myth, and the one mentality shift she calls it fixer vs. freeloader that decides who actually gets rich.

Learn about the lipstick theory that predicts a recession before the headlines do, and why the smartest thing you can do with your money right now might be nothing like what your parents did.

What if the hardest moments in your life weren’t there to break you, but were actually pointing you toward who you’re meant to be?
Today, Jay sits down with renowned psychologist, Columbia professor, and bestselling author Dr. Lisa Miller to explore the powerful intersection of science and spirituality. Together, they unpack one of the most transformative ideas of our time: that spirituality is not reserved for the religious or the enlightened, it is an innate human capacity wired into every one of us. Through groundbreaking neuroscience, Dr. Lisa reveals how our brains are biologically designed to perceive that we are loved, guided, and never truly alone. Jay and Lisa invite us into a new way of living, one where anxiety, heartbreak, disappointment, and uncertainty are no longer viewed as signs that we’ve lost our way, but as invitations into deeper spiritual awakening.

Throughout the episode, Jay and Lisa share profoundly personal reflections on life’s “red doors” and “yellow doors”, the moments when what we desperately wanted fell apart, only to lead us somewhere far more aligned, meaningful, and expansive than we could have imagined. Through intimate stories, spiritual practices, and powerful meditations, they explore how intuition, synchronicity, and inner knowing can guide us toward our true path when we finally learn to listen. Jay opens up about protecting his purpose, discovering his calling beyond societal expectations, and the courage it takes to trust the quiet voice within. Lisa beautifully reframes suffering not as punishment or failure, but as the very catalyst that awakens us to greater love, wisdom, and purpose. This episode is a reminder that some of the greatest breakthroughs in life begin with the moments that break us open.

In this episode you'll learn:
How to Listen to Your Inner Wisdom
How to Turn Pain Into Spiritual Growth
How to Recognize Signs the Universe Is Sending You
How to Feel Guided When Life Feels Uncertain
How to Stop Ignoring Your Intuition
How to Stay Spiritual in a Busy, Modern World
How to Strengthen Your Spiritual Awareness Daily
How to Navigate Depression Through a Spiritual Lens

Maybe the answers you’ve been searching for aren’t outside of you, but in the quiet voice you’ve been too busy, too hurt, or too afraid to trust. Life won’t always go as planned, but sometimes the detours, disappointments, and closed doors are leading you somewhere deeper than success, toward a life that feels aligned, meaningful, and true.

Have you ever stayed in a relationship just to avoid being alone?

Did staying make you feel better or worse over time?

Today, Jay sits down with writer and relationship coach Quinlan Walther to explore what it truly means to build healthy, lasting relationships. Quinlan introduces her “Four C’s of Self-Trust”: curiosity, capacity, compassion, and commitment, a framework for strengthening one’s relationship with the self before seeking partnership.

You're not stuck because you're lazy.

Your brain is doing exactly what it was built to do, keep you inside what's already safe and familiar.

In this clip, Emily Mcdonald and Jay Shetty break down the three reasons people procrastinate, and why none of them are about willpower.

She explains the part of your brain that writes the story of who you are, why it quietly blocks any goal that doesn't match that story, and the study on kittens raised in a dark room that changed how she thinks about what we can and can't see in our own lives.

Learn about the three-step process she used to rewire what she believed she already deserved, and why the thing you desperately want is the thing you're least likely to get.

Khloé Kardashian says the shame she carried for years was never really hers to carry.

In this clip, Khloé Kardashian and Jay Shetty talk about the stretch of her life where she didn't want to make eye contact with anyone at the grocery store, convinced they already knew her story and had decided what she deserved.

Khloé opens up about the therapist she avoided for over ten years, the homework assignment that made her read her own traumas out loud like a stranger's biography, and why she kept apologizing every time she cried. She talks about forgiving herself for staying, setting boundaries for the first time at 40, and what actually changed the morning she started choosing her own mood.

Learn about why she still believes in marriage after everything, what happened when she sat down with Lamar for the first time in almost ten years, and the sentence her six-year-old wrote about her that stopped her cold.

You check your phone's battery a dozen times a day. You've probably never once checked your own.

In this clip, David Ko and Jay Shetty talk about the question a friend asked her kids that changed how David thinks about mental health entirely: not "how are you doing", but "how's your battery?"

David breaks down the four zones between 0 and 100, what to actually say when someone tells you they're at five, and why he spent years turning to smoking and late-night eating instead of anything that helped. Jay opens up about the dinner he cancelled the night before this conversation, and the stat that 61% of people feel they're just expected to get over stress.

Learn about the difference between powering through and powering up, why the right amount of stress makes people work better while the wrong amount just makes them work harder, and how being fully present with someone charges you up at the same time it charges them.

In one of her most honest conversations yet, Layla Taylor reflects on the quiet journey of becoming herself. She opens up about coming out as bisexual, navigating faith, identity, single motherhood, and the weight of growing up feeling like she had to fit into everyone else's expectations. Rather than focusing on the hardships alone, this episode explores what happens when you stop living in survival mode and finally choose authenticity, self-worth, and the freedom to define your own life.

In this episode you'll learn:
How to Stop Living for Other People's Approval
How to Finally Embrace Your Authentic Self
How to Leave a Toxic Relationship Without Regret
How to Find Yourself After Divorce and Heartbreak
How to Be Comfortable Being Alone for the First Time
How to Turn Your Hardest Experiences Into Strength

The greatest freedom comes from embracing yourself with honesty, letting go of the expectations that no longer serve you, and trusting that growth often begins on the other side of fear. Your story doesn't have to be perfect to be meaningful, it just has to be yours.

With Love and Gratitude,
Jay Shetty

Sometimes the hardest part of healing isn’t what the world did to you, it’s unlearning the version of yourself you became just to survive it.

Today, Jay sits down with Hayden Panettiere for a raw and powerful conversation where she shares the truth behind a life the world thought it knew, but never truly understood. What unfolds isn’t just a story about fame, it’s a powerful reckoning with identity, pain, and resilience. From losing the innocence of a normal childhood to carrying the emotional weight of growing up in the spotlight, Hayden shares how early success came with hidden costs, bullying, isolation, and a lifelong struggle to feel like she truly belonged. This conversation goes beyond the headlines and into the heart of a woman who has spent decades learning how to separate who she is from who the world decided she should be.

As the conversation deepens, Hayden opens up about the hidden battles that shaped her adulthood, including addiction, postpartum depression, and the weight of living her trauma both privately and in public. She reflects on the surreal experience of playing a character whose struggles mirrored her own, where the line between performance and real life pain began to blur. Together, they unpack the patterns, the pressure to please, and the emotions she never had the space to process that kept her stuck in cycles she couldn’t break. Within it all, a powerful truth emerges: healing isn’t linear, and even in the darkest moments, there’s a quiet strength still fighting to rise.

Through grief, loss, and unimaginable challenges, Hayden is learning to reclaim her voice, trust herself again, and step into a new chapter defined not by survival, but by intention.

In this episode you'll learn:
How to Heal When Your Identity Was Shaped by Others
How to Rebuild Self-Trust After Years of Self-Doubt
How to Break Free from Toxic and Abusive Cycles
How to Cope with Anxiety That Feels Never-Ending
How to Navigate Postpartum Depression Without Shame
How to Stop Living for Approval and Start Living for Yourself
How to Let Go of the Need to Fix Everyone
How to Set Boundaries with People You Love
How to Keep Going When Life Keeps Breaking You

If you see parts of yourself in this story, the doubt, the pain, the patterns you wish you could break, know that you’re not alone, and more importantly, you’re not stuck. Healing doesn’t happen all at once, and it doesn’t require perfection.

This Is Me: A Reckoning is Hayden’s memoir where she shares a rare and intimate glimpse into her life behind closed doors, opening up about postpartum depression, addiction and recovery, trauma, domestic abuse, and loss. To get a copy, visit: https://www.amazon.com/This-Is....-Me-A-Reckoning/dp/B

Emilie Kiser sits down with Jay for her first in depth conversation about the loss of her son, Trigg, and what life has looked like in the months after. Emilie speaks candidly about grief, guilt, marriage, motherhood, and the pressure of navigating tragedy while also living publicly online. Instead of trying to offer perfect answers, this episode focuses on the reality of surviving something life-altering one moment at a time.

The conversation also shines a light on the importance of pool safety, prevention, and the measures that can help protect families from unimaginable loss. Emilie opens up about therapy, boundaries, support systems, and the reality that grief doesn’t disappear, it becomes something you learn to carry. It’s a deeply honest conversation about love, accountability, healing, and finding a way to keep living after life changes forever.

In this episode you'll learn:
How to Live Alongside Grief
How to Support Someone After Loss
How to Set Boundaries Online
How to Grieve Together as a Couple
How to Protect Your Children Better
How to Heal One Day at a Time
How to Show Up for Your Family in Pain

Healing doesn’t mean forgetting. Strength doesn’t mean pretending you’re okay. It simply means continuing to love, continuing to show up, and continuing to hope even when life feels different than before.

With Love and Gratitude,
Jay Shetty

There are many philosophies about human nutrition. In fact, each of the experts will usually have their own unique approach on how we can eat to optimize health and reverse disease. And yet, few of us think to look at some of the "healthy" options, like tomatoes, that carry the pro-inflammatory lectins.

In this ScHO Keynote Steven Gundry, MD, pioneer in infant heart transplant surgery, New York Times best-selling author of such books as The Plant Paradox: The Hidden Dangers in "Healthy" Foods That Cause Disease and Weight Gain, shares his perspective, one that helps him reverse disease in countless people around the world.

If you have an autoimmune disease, watch this before your next doctor's appointment. Stop relying solely on heavy prescriptions and discover the root cause of your inflammation with Dr. Mark Hyman!

Managing conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, or Hashimoto's often feels like a frustrating trade-off between temporary pain relief and heavy drug side effects. But what if you could change that? Functional medicine offers a powerful shift in perspective for anyone struggling with chronic illness by asking why your immune system is overreacting, rather than just masking the symptoms.

With over 80 million people in the United States dealing with some form of autoimmune disease, relying solely on pharmaceutical intervention is a limited path. In this video, Dr. Mark Hyman breaks down the five hidden drivers of chronic disease—toxins, microbes, allergens, poor diet, and stress—and explains how they trigger systemic inflammation. You will also hear a real-life case study of how addressing these root causes completely reversed severe autoimmune symptoms.

By learning how to identify your specific triggers and nourish your body with the right foods and nutrients, you can build a sustainable, natural health strategy. If you are tired of the endless cycle of symptom management, understanding this functional medicine philosophy provides a clearer roadmap for your recovery.

Rheumatoid arthritis and lectins. Lectins in nuts, seeds, beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and eggplant trigger agglutination — the cross-linking of IgG and IgM antibodies that drives the pathophysiology of RA. This immune complex formation amplifies joint inflammation.
Trial an eight-week lectin-free diet with RA patients. Rheumatoid factor often drops measurably, and joint swelling and pain frequency decrease significantly. Lectin sensitivity is common in this population and easily missed.

📢 Dr. Bikman’s Coaching Site, Insulin IQ: https://insuliniq.com
📢 Become an Insider on Ben’s website: https://www.benbikman.com

In this lecture, Dr. Bikman introduces lectins as harmful plant-derived proteins often found in carbohydrate-rich foods like legumes, grains, and nightshades. While these molecules serve as plant defense mechanisms, in humans they can bind to gut lining cells, disrupting tight junctions and increasing gut permeability (leaky gut). This disruption allows bacterial fragments (e.g., LPS) to enter circulation, triggering systemic inflammation, which in turn increases insulin resistance, autoimmune reactivity, and cardiometabolic risk.

Lectins are also molecular mimics, capable of binding to insulin receptors and partially triggering insulin-like effects. This can lead to inappropriate fat storage, lipogenesis, and eventually insulin resistance as receptors become desensitized. Some lectins, like wheat germ agglutinin (WGA), have been shown in studies to both mimic and interfere with insulin signaling in fat cells—promoting fat gain and metabolic dysfunction even independent of calories.

Lectins are linked to obesity, cardiovascular disease, fatty liver, and autoimmune disorders. They can increase inflammatory cytokines, damage liver mitochondria, promote oxidative stress, and worsen non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). In susceptible individuals, lectins can also drive autoimmune flares, with evidence pointing to their role in molecular mimicry, leading to the generation of autoantibodies and aggravated immune responses.

While cooking methods like pressure cooking or fermenting can reduce lectin levels by up to 95%, they are never fully eliminated. Dr. Bikman concludes that for individuals with autoimmunity, insulin resistance, gut issues, or cardiovascular risk, reducing lectin intake may be wise. Monitoring markers like CRP, fasting insulin, and blood glucose can offer clues to lectin sensitivity, and while more human studies are needed, the biological plausibility and clinical observations make a strong case for dietary caution.

Steven Gundry’s website includes a page with the full list of items to eat and which to avoid when following his program. However, I recommend reading his book and speaking with your physician before engaging in any drastic diet changes.
http://gundrymd.com/plant-paradox-shopping-list/

Bonus Facts and Info from the book:
♦ Lectin avoidance diets also go under the name of autoimmune protocol (AIP for short).
♦ Most American chicken and beef contain antibiotics within them, so although you might not be taking antibiotics, you may still be indirectly consuming them.
♦ When NSAIDS such as ibuprofen were first introduced in the 1970s they were considered so harmful that they were only available under prescription.
♦ PPIs are terrible in general as one study showed a 44% increase in risk of dementia, and are also linked to chronic kidney disease. Additionally they prevent proper protein digestion, allowing more lectins (which are proteins) to survive their journey to the intestinal wall.
♦ The author does not recommend that healthy people completely eliminate gluten from their diets unless they know they have a sensitivity to it. If you starve your gut bacteria of gluten for a long period of time, the ones that digest it will eventually die off, and you might have issues with it once you inevitably consume gluten at some later point.
♦ If you are sensitive to casein A-1 in milk, you can try A-2 milk, which some companies sell. Or just consume goat and sheep products instead, which don’t contain casein A-1.
♦ Wheat germ agglutinin (WGA) found in whole wheat binds to glucosamines in our joints, so by taking exogenous glucosamine you can prevent the WGA from attacking your joints if you happen to ingest whole wheat. This also means that a simple way to test if you are being afflicted by WGA is to try taking glucosamine and see how your joints feels.
♦ WGA is actually an incredibly tiny lectin, which easily passes through the intestinal wall even if your gut health is good. According to Steven Gundry, in addition to binding to our joints and cornea (as mentioned in the video), it also binds to fat cells and causes them to grow larger, it blocks muscle cells from receiving sugar, and causes both kidney inflammation and atherosclerosis.

Supplements the book recommends:
► Omega 3s DHA & EPA -https://iherb.com/pr/Now-Foods....-Omega-3-180-EPA-120
► Vitamin D3 - https://iherb.com/pr/Doctor-s-....Best-Vitamin-D3-125-
► Glucosamine (to counteract WGA) - https://iherb.com/pr/Doctor-s-....Best-Glucosamine-Cho

I really hope this video makes a difference in helping people who suffer from autoimmune diseases. If you’ve adopted a lectin avoidance diet and successfully reduced or eliminated your autoimmune symptoms, I’d love to hear about it in the comments!

Should you consume eggs if you have an autoimmune condition? Here’s what you need to know.

Timestamps
0:00 Autoimmune diseases and eggs
0:10 Autoimmune disease and allergies
2:00 Common allergies
2:25 Vegetable oils
2:53 Don’t want to get an allergy test?

DATA:
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/23205520/

https://pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/jf505615w
https://www.sciencedirect.com/....science/article/abs/

Today let’s talk about whether or not it’s a good idea to consume eggs if you have an autoimmune condition. Most autoimmune diseases stem from gut damage. About 80% of your immune system is located in the digestive system.

If there is a break in the lining of the colon, causing leaky gut, proteins can leak into the lymphatic system. If a protein, like the protein in milk, wheat, or eggs, ends up in the lymphatic system, your immune system may tag the protein as a foreign toxin. Now you would have an allergy to this protein, and every time you have it, you’ll become inflamed.

These allergic reactions could actually set you up for an autoimmune disease. This is where you have antibodies that are attacking your own tissues.

If you have an autoimmune condition, you may want to get an allergy test. This way, you can identify what you’re allergic to, like casein or eggs. If you’re consuming eggs or casein on the keto diet and you have an autoimmune condition, this could make things worse.

Common allergies:
• Dairy (cheese, milk, yogurt)
• Grains (gluten)
• Eggs
• Nuts

If you have an autoimmune condition, you may also want to avoid vegetable oils. Vegetable oils are very inflammatory, and dealing with autoimmune conditions is all about reducing inflammation.

When you do healthy keto and intermittent fasting as well as periodic prolonged fasting, you may even find that some of your allergies eventually go away because you’re strengthening your immune system.

How to lower aluminum toxicity:
1. Silica
2. Taurine
3. Vitamin E (tocotrienals)
4. Selenium
5. Acetylcarnitine

http://www.drhagmeyer.com/ In this video, Dr Hagmeyer explains how Lectins contribute to Inflammation and autoimmune disease. He also explains the foods that contain the highest concentration of Lectins and the role they play in leaky gut.
Many food lectins can interact with and damage the delicate lining of the small intestine and lead to a "leaky gut" via inflammation of the microvili (the finger like projections of the intestinal cell that increase surface area). certain microbes can accomplish the same task (creating inflammation) due to lectins they contain as well. The small intestinal microvilli also can bring these food lectins into the bloodstream via a process called endocytosis, which is a way of transporting nutrients and other items from the intestinal lumen into the blood stream
